A group of students from Interagency Academy just finished building the amphitheater at Central Library for Shakespeare’s First Folio this month! As part of an ongoing partnership with Sawhorse Revolution, Interagency students participate in a series of after-school programs where they have the opportunity to work on projects with mentors and professional builders that positively impact their confidence to engage and improve the communities they live in.
The building and installation of this stage and exhibit is the third project that Interagency students have been able to participate in with Sawhorse Revolution, and it is by far the biggest. Sawhorse Revolution, in partnership with Seattle Public Library, designed the space approximately 6 months ago. Interagency students began realizing the early February.
The First Folio exhibit will be open until April 17 at the downtown Central Library.
