Southeast Seattle Education Coalition (SESEC), in partnership with the City of Seattle’s Office of Civil Rights (OCR), proudly presents professor john a. powell*, a renowned social justice advocate and author of “Racing to Justice: Transforming Our Conceptions of Self and Other to Build an Inclusive Society.” His presentation will challenge us to replace attitudes and institutions that promote and perpetuate social suffering with those that foster relationships and a way of being that transcends disconnection and separation.
Professor john a. powell’s presentation will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2017, from, doors open at 5:30, 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Washington Hall, located at 153 14 th Avenue, Seattle, WA.
