A BIG Thank You!

 SESEC staff wants to give a BIG thank you to our supporters who made donations to SESEC during the 2019 GiveBIG Community Campaign:

Your gift will support our capacity building efforts. SESEC has experienced tremendous growth; in the past 3 years we experienced an increase of 568% in individuals attending coalition meetings, the back to school and kindergarten kick-off fair, events such as “our conversation with SPS Superintendent Juneau,” Advocacy and Policy Cohorts (APC), Equity and Equality in Education(EEE) and our Seeking Educational Equity & Diversity (SEED) Series.

Last year, we received 501c3 tax exempt status and in July 2018, established SESEC as an independent non-profit organization. We are working to develop greater capacity to bring programs to you, host more conversations on race, and develop stronger, trusting relationships within our community.

• Attend the SESEC Coalition meetings on the 3rd Thursday of each month.
• Give us feedback on our upcoming priorities, participate in a future Advocacy and Policy Cohort, or volunteer for one of SESEC’s partners.
