October SESEC Coalition Meeting – Recording
Alissa Muller, Director of the Mastery-based Learning Collaborative at the State Board of Education, shared information about the mastery-based learning work happening in the state. The Mastery-based Learning Work Group has been charged by the legislature to develop a Profile of a Graduate describing the cross-disciplinary skills a student needs to develop by the time they graduate to thrive in life after high school. Attendees were invited to give feedback on the work group’s draft.
Ashley Davies from Seattle Public Schools joined us at 1.15-2.00 to talk about the SPS bus disruption.
SESEC meetings are the third Thursday of the month, 12.00-1.30 (or 2.00 depending on topic and agenda).Currently, we meet via Zoom. These email updates generally go out about one week before the meeting announcing the speaker and a registration link.
