During the November 2025 ballot, the Families, Education, Preschool, and Promise Levy (FEPP) was overwhelmingly passed by Seattle voters. However, our work as a coalition does not end there. Here’s how we’re calling on coalition members to get involved to make sure our priorities are heard during this community input period.
Mobilizing for Southeast Seattle Students
Together, we ensure that every student in Southeast Seattle has access to the programs, supports, and pathways they need to thrive from preschool to postsecondary. Our collective care and coordination safeguard the community.
Our coalition is stronger than any one organization. By connecting our programs, stories, and insights, we build a network that can influence how FEPP funds are used and keep equity at the center.
We turn knowledge into action by showing up collectively, amplifying student voices, engaging decision-makers, and holding systems accountable. Our shared effort makes Southeast Seattle priorities impossible to ignore.

What is the FEPP Levy, and how will it affect my community-based organization (CBO)?
- $1.3 billion in funding across 6 years to be divided across early learning, K-12 health and safety, and post-secondary education.
- Some funding will be allocated to CBOs based on the services they provide across these three categories.
- Current CBOs funded by the levy do not have a bridge funding year during the implementation plan period, in between the old 2018 levy and the current levy (2026-2031).
- The FEPP Levy does not fund day-to-day operations of public schools, such as staff, transportation, or building maintenance. Those are funded by: The Seattle Public Schools Educational Programs and Operations Levy (EP&O) and The Seattle Public Schools Building Excellence Levy
